Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to Fruxon (“Fruxon”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal data when you use our websites, products, and services (collectively, the “Services”).
2. Scope & Definitions
This Policy applies to personal data processed by Fruxon as a controller for our websites and account management, and as a processor when we act on behalf of our customers within the product.
“Personal data” means information that identifies or can reasonably identify an individual.
“Customer data” means data submitted to the Services by or for a customer account.
3. Data We Collect
We collect personal data in the following categories (depending on how you use the Services):
Account data: name, email, password (hashed), organization, role.
Usage data: product interactions, feature usage, pages viewed, timestamps.
Technical data: IP address, device/browser info, OS, SDK/API telemetry.
Support data: information you provide to our support channels.
Customer data: content or datasets you or your org upload/configure (we process as your processor).
4. How We Use Your Data (Purposes & Legal Bases)
We use personal data to:
Provide, maintain, and improve the Services (performance of contract).
Authenticate users and secure accounts (legitimate interests; legal obligation).
Measure usage and enhance product features (legitimate interests; consent where required).
Communicate updates and service notices (performance of contract; legitimate interests).
Comply with law, enforce terms, and prevent fraud/abuse (legal obligation; legitimate interests).
With your consent, send relevant marketing (you may opt out anytime).
5. Cookies & Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, and analyze usage. We use Mixpanel for product analytics, which collects usage data such as page views, referral sources, device information, and approximate location (city/country derived from IP address). This data is used solely to improve our product and is not used to identify you by name or contact you. You can manage preferences anytime via the cookie settings in the footer or your browser settings.
6. How We Share Your Data
We do not sell personal data. We may share:
With service providers (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics, payments) under contracts that limit their use to our instructions.
With AI service providers (e.g., OpenAI, Google, Anthropic) to process your requests through Fruxon's AI agents. For users on Fruxon-provided API access, we use enterprise-grade API plans that do not train on your data. If you provide your own API keys, your data is subject to that provider's terms and policies.
With your consent or at your direction (e.g., integrations).
For legal reasons (to comply with law or protect rights, safety, and security).
For enterprise customers, a Data Processing Addendum (DPA) is available upon request.
7. Google Workspace Integration
When you connect your Google account to Fruxon, we access only the Google Workspace data you explicitly authorize, such as files in Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Calendar events, and Gmail messages.
How we use Google data:
To perform actions you request through Fruxon's AI agents
To display file information within the Fruxon interface
How we protect Google data:
We do not sell your Google data to third parties
We do not use your Google data for advertising purposes
Fruxon does not use your data to train AI or machine learning models. When using third-party AI providers with your own API keys, their terms apply.
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest
Access is limited to what is necessary to provide the service
Data retention:
Google Workspace data is processed in real-time to fulfill your requests. Agent execution traces, which may include excerpts of file content, calendar events, or email data, are stored to provide you with a history of agent actions and for debugging purposes. You can delete your agent traces at any time through the Fruxon interface.
Revoking access:
You can disconnect Fruxon's access to your Google account at any time by:
Visiting your Google Account permissions at myaccount.google.com/permissions
Finding "Fruxon" in the list of connected apps
Clicking "Remove Access"
You can also contact us at privacy@fruxon.com to request removal of any stored Google data.
Platform use:
Fruxon is a platform that enables our customers to build and deploy AI agents. These agents may access end-user Google Workspace data when authorized by those end users. Our customers are contractually required to comply with applicable data protection laws and Google's policies when using Fruxon to access end-user data.
Fruxon's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
8. International Transfers
If personal data is transferred internationally, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) and require our providers to implement comparable protections.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and context; we delete or anonymize data when no longer needed.
10. Data Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit and at rest, least-privilege access controls, audit logging, and regular security reviews. We maintain incident response procedures and notify customers and/or authorities as required by law.
Fruxon is designed to be SOC 2–friendly and supports enterprise controls such as RBAC, audit trails, and environment isolation.
11. Your Rights (GDPR/EEA/UK)
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, and portability. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise rights, contact us at privacy@fruxon.com. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
12. California Privacy (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of certain data sharing, and to not be discriminated against for exercising rights. We do not sell personal information as defined by CCPA/CPRA.
Submit requests at privacy@fruxon.com.
13. Children's Privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us to request deletion.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice (e.g., in-product message or email). The “Last updated” date reflects the latest version.
